Community Power in form of locally owned and controlled renewable energy is key in order to fully mobilise the renewable energy potentials around the world.

Before this background, WWEA, in collaboration with LEE NRW and the Japan Community Power Network, conducted a two year research project in which they analysed the role of women in community power, in Germany and in Japan. Women are clearly underrepresented in the sector, and the research concluded with recommendations and guidelines how this can be changed.

The webinar will present the guidelines and will discuss approaches how the recommendations can be put into practice.

You can find more information about the recommendations here
